The new 2017 Mercedes-Maybach E-Class sedan is set for release sometime in late summer of 2016. Mercedes Benz has always been known for its handling and efficiency. The driver has all of the newest comforts, including being able to operate on its own if the driver becomes incapacitated or impaired. Manufacturers have included new software that focuses on safety and providing the driver with autonomous controls that allows the car to get where it needs to be at almost autobahn level speeds.
The interior of the car has also been revamped. Wood panels and accents are no longer the norm. Instead, Mercedes choose to include textures and contrasts. From metallic weave and open-pore wood accents, to the large center console, the interior of the car has a multitude of features that work to enhance the beautiful leather interior. The car also boasts ambient lighting in over 64 different hues. No matter what your mood, there is a color that will embrace it.
When it comes to technology the E-Class has become a digital wonderland. With the focus being on fingertip control, everything the driver needs is close at hand and can be adjusted with the a simple touch. The entertainment speakers offer both depth and texture, providing crisp sound and vibrant colors.
As for the motor, the age of the “turbo-four” is at hand. Along with a 9-speed transmission, the E-Class has both the power and the agility that rivals, and according to some, exceeds others in its class. The E300 has a 2.0 liter turbo engine that pushes 241 horsepower. It runs from 0 to 60 miles per hour in approximately 6 seconds and is extremely responsive. In the future, Mercedes hopes to offer both a turbo diesel and a plug-in hybrid model for consumers who want maximum fuel economy.
